Ai Design Corps members, volunteers and apprentices aim to prepare workers for gaps in the global workforce. The business landscape is changing so quickly that it’s becoming near impossible to predict what skills will be most useful in 10 years. The old model of learning something in college and carrying that skillset throughout one’s career no longer matchs the changing demands of today’s labor market. New collar jobs take a more agile approach to education — teaching in-demand skills that can be applied to the technology of today. As a part of the Ai Design Corps, apprentices learn to design products, services, software and produce entertainment and experiences that educate, incubate and equip anyone willing to learn with the hands-on learning experiences they need to pursue 21st century global workforce opportunities.
