What began with the 100 Million Mask Mayday Design Brief in March of 2020 has continued to protect millions of Educators, Elections, Healthcare and Domestic workers, indigenous communities and homeless families from COVID-19, Flu and other airborn illnesses.
The Breathe3D mask is a high-tech protective face covering. Designed to reduce pollution, Breathe3D introduces FDA-compliant, ISO-certified, Antibacterial 3D print filaments and hospital grade seals and AirX Health MERV-13 filters.
Design Corps researchers used 3D facial scans to produce mask sizes that comfortably fit, improve breathability and reduce eye-wear fogging.
The Breathe3D mask design is sustainable, ingenuity that can be molded to your face, sanitized and reused. The Breathe3D masks offers a futuristic barrier to the changing enviroment. Its well-fitted seal and air filtration is strong enough to prevent transmission of infectious agents.
Every Breathe3D masks comes with:
1 - Foam Seal
1 - AIRx Health MERV13 Filter
2 - Braided Stretch Ear Bands
1 - Ear Saver Face Mask Extender
The Breathe3D AIRx Health MERV13 Filter traps respiratory irritants, smog, bacteria and viruses for health protection. MERV stands for Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value and is an industry standard to rate a filters efficacy. AiRx Health filters are made in Greenwood, Indiana with great attention to quality.
You can purchase a replacement 10 pack of Filter3D AIRx Health MERV13 Filters at MaskUp.DesignedByUs.org
The Breath3D mask has a foam seal to ensure you are protected and have maximum comfort in active enviroments.
Featured Color: Cobalt Blue
While we print Breathe3D masks to fit a wide variety of facial sizes and dimentions, everyone’s individual face will be different.
To create a custom fit of the Breathe3D mask, remove the filter and foam seal. Using a hair dryer or steam from boiling water, heat the top of the mask for 15-20 seconds to make the Antibacterial PLA more malleable. Once it has been softened, simply place on your face and mold the mask to your liking.
Make sure to allow the mask to cool completely before replacing the foam seal and filter.
Breathe3D masks are reusable, but each person should have their own. Masks should not be shared, left in hot cars or hung on the rear view mirror. Breathe3D masks should be cleaned and disinfected wtth soap and water or a non-toxic disinfectant or a medical wipe. Make sure to practice good hygiene by your washing hands before and after changing filters and removing mask. Make sure to clean mask often, change filter often. 3D Printed Masks And The Healthcare Community
Face masks are an additional step to help slow the spread of COVID-19 when combined with every day preventive actions like social distancing in public settings; Washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 60 seconds and avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Save A Life! Wear A Mask
& Social Distance
Everyone should wear a face mask when they leave their home and go out in public. Masks offer a simple barrier to help prevent respiratory droplets from traveling into the air and onto other people when the person wearing the cloth face covering coughs, sneezes, talks, or raises their voice. This is called source control. Emerging evidence from clinical and laboratory studies that shows wearing a mask reduces the spray of droplets when worn over the nose and mouth.
